Since everyone is still mostly active, and more for myself to remember, I would like to offer up a few suggestions for next season.
1. PPR
2. HFA for at least the first round of the playoffs.
3. Ability to change player up until their kickoff rather than noon on Sunday.
4. Possibly adding a second QB slot.
Feel free to comment or add things.

Re: Rule changes for 2016
Do all of our players lock in at noon? I thought it was per game time. Seems like I have changed players before but maybe I am confused with ESPN leagues.
PPR I am on the fence about. I'm not sure it would be fair since this league has been in existence for so long. Drafting for a PPR team is much different than drafting for a normal one. We might have to vote on doing a complete re-draft. I'm not sure who comes away with an advantage or disadvantage if we just switched.

Re: Rule changes for 2016
Yeah, I got caught up in the late change situation earlier this year in a John Brown vs. Michael Floyd decision on a Sunday night game.
As for PPR, as long as we gave enough warning starting now and maybe went slowly like adding a .5 PPR one year, then full PPR the next, it would give people time to adjust their keepers and offseason moves.

Just something to discuss. Seems like QB is a very devalued position these days. Almost undraftable, barely tradeable.bstock wrote:2nd Qb slot?

We could reduce turnover's to something like 2. Our penalty is very high and most come from QB's in the form of interceptions and fumbles.
The rules are fair. The regulations are fair.

Re: Rule changes for 2016
If we start two QB, that would mean 24 QB in play vs 12. There are easily 18-20 viable starting QB in the league. Although if we went to 2 QB, we could reduce the INT penalty and maybe go to 4 points per TD rather than 6.wolfe wrote:If we could start 2 QB's, I think that would make them even less valuable.eazye187 wrote:Just something to discuss. Like I said, the season is over, need to fill 8 months.
The only other scoring change to consider would be a penalty for missed FG and XP.

- Kickoff - All players are locked at scheduled kickoff time for first game of the week
- Early - Players in early games are locked at kickoff of their game, other players are locked Sunday at 1PM ET (selected)
- Gametime - Players are locked at scheduled kickoff of their game
- Calendar - As specified on the league calendar

Re: Rule changes for 2016
I am all for changing the rules to not lock in players until game time. I think that one is a no brainer.
As far as the additional scoring categories that are an option, I like Forced Fumbles and Tackles For Loss as possible additions. Maybe .5 for tackles for loss and 1 point for forced fumbles?
I have also played in leagues where you received a bonus for length of the play. I'm usually on the fence with those though. They don't reward you as a GM. They just end up being random plays that increase scoring.
