Giving away draft picks?

Post by wolfe »

We all know the Midget is trade-crazy, but now he's just giving away free draft picks.
Bitter Midgets gave up Burnett, Morgan GBP S; Year 2012 Round 4 Draft Pick from Bitter Midgets
Beer Swillers gave up Bell, Yeremiah MIA S
Bitter Midgets gave up Chancellor, Kam SEA S; Year 2012 Round 5 Draft Pick from Bitter Midgets
Beer Swillers gave up Harper, Roman NOS S
Midget gave up 2 draft picks for an increase of 1.63 per game at the safety position. And Harper is on by this week so he can't even use him.
The rules are fair. The regulations are fair.

Free? Both of those players I traded you are injured. Do a little research ;)

Plus, the two I got from you are top-dbs, and I had 3 or 4 extra picks.

I did plenty of research. Both players have been practicing all week and will play this weekend.

The difference in fantasy value is negligible. You can take the two prettiest Titans cheerleaders. I'll take $1,000 and the two ugliest Titans cheerleaders. We'll both be happy.

Burnett was great before breaking his hand, and he's sucked since. He doesn't make many tackles now and obviously can't get INTs, and Chancellor has a concussion. We all know that could be one week or could be several. I'm happy and apparently you are as well so good luck!

Final Analysis:

Midget's Players:
Roman Harper
W11 - bye
W12 - 11.0
W13 - 6.0
W14 - 11.0

Yeremiah Bell
W11 - 11.0
W12 - 8.0
W13 - 8.0
W14 - 13.0

68pts = 8.5 pts / player / week

Swillers' Players:
Morgan Burnett
W11 - 11.0
W12 - 10.0
W13 - 11.0
W14 - 20.0

Kam Chancellor
W11 - 8.0
W12 - 11.0
W13 - 7.0
W14 - 9.0

10.875 pts / player / week

If the Midgets would have kept their original players, they would have scored +4 points in Week 13 -- when they lost by 3.9 points!

lol, I knew this was coming. You're counting a bye week against me in the trade?!? Seriously? Why don't you try skewing it some more. You got the better end so far. I can't win them all even though ya'll think I do

DeMarco breaking his ankle killed that trade also :(

We'll see how they compare in the playoffs. That's when it really counts!

In fact, I've screwed the pooch on trading this season

I wouldn't have traded away Victor Cruz for a 4th round pick had I known I would later trade Nicks. To also trade away Rodgers toward a RB that breaks his ankle reallllllly hurts my feelings. Fortunately I've had the luxury of depth, but injuries have decimated my RB corps. I had ADP, Best (Smith) and Ingram all OUT this week only to lose Murray for the rest of the season also.

Of course, all the pain could go away with a 4th straight championship! The Hogs, however, have outscored the Bidgets 3 weeks in a row so I'm not looking forward to this first-round matchup.

Good luck to all!
