My #1 play of the week is the Texans -4.5. I'm also taking the Rams +9.

They won't end that way. I am actually 9-5-2 this season so my "locks" haven't performed as well as the others. The Texans didn't cover by .5, but I pushed because I always buy down to the nearest whole number. My other pick was ANOTHER dog that won straight-up.

I'm not enamored with anything today. The statistical matchups aren't great.

I am playing one game today; Raiders +9.

Well, Oakland only covered by 54 points

That makes my freebies 4-3 (4-2-1 for me).

Hitting 60% over the season is considered doing well. That basketball ref was investigated by his sportsbook because he was winning 70%+.

Statistically the Chargers -3.5 is a good play, but I'm not betting against the Titans.

I am taking the Vikings +6.

4-4. I think I'm going to turn my betting more profitable by beginning to just bet on the dogs. I went 2-1 this past week, and the one loss was the Bills in OT.

For instance, I bet on these dogs last week:

Packers +220
Bills +250
Bucs +145

As you can see the payouts are superior to normal odds betting. Had the Bills won I would've cashed in BIG. With that loss and the Vikings not covering I still profited by hitting my other 2 dogs. Since many of my freebie wins have been dogs winning outright I'm going to switch to that strategy for a couple/few weeks to see how it plays out. I will still bet on the best odds plays because I have a winning record doing so.

I'll chime in with my "freebies" later in the week.
