Titans WR Roydell Williams, tied for the team lead in receptions, will miss the playoffs with a broken ankle suffered in Wednesday's practice.
Scaife gone also, it looks like the Titans are FUCKED

Scaife = lacerated liver. What the...?
Haynesworth, Bulluck and Young are also dinged up. And so are White, Brown, Mawae and Olson.
San Diego = no injuries.
BUT AT LEAST THE TITANS MADE THE PLAYOFFS!

Titans coach Jeff Fisher says fixing the Titans offense is the biggest area of concern this off-season.
Fisher vowed to "obtain those types of players that can score touchdowns." He added that he remains confident in QB Vince Young and plans to try to add firepower around him via the draft and free agency.

Priority #1: Receivers who can catch the ball.

Priority #2: Flux capacitor, energy source capable of producing 1.21 gigawatts, a vehicle capable of 88 mph and a draft card with the name Jay Cutler.

Jay Cutler? Of the 7-9 Broncos? The Broncos that watched the playoffs on TV this weekend instead of playing?
Priority #2: Changing offensive philosophy to include deeper passing routes.

Comparing team records is bunk. The Bengals won less than the Titans, is Vince better than Palmer?

There's no need to change the QB. Vince will be an adequate QB for this defensive oriented team.
Besides, we don't have enough 2nd tier WR's that a top-tier QB could take advantage of.
However, something needs to change. Either Vince refuses to throw more than a 12-yard pass or the Offensive Coordinator doesn't call those plays when Vince is in the game. But either way the receivers need to catch the ball more consistently. Dropped balls killed drives as often as bad passes this year. And little things like that is what separates average teams from good teams.

While I agree that Vince regressed this season you have to remember that the talent around him did as well. His completions, completion % and passer rating all improved this season which is encouraging. Unfortunately his INTs were way up as well. We just don't have any players with big play ability! I'm hoping we seriously make a push for a #1 WR. I know teams don't let them go often, but maybe someone like Javon Walker (if he recovers well) or Chad Johnson. Both players have voiced their displeasure and could possibly trade candidates!
I'm not gonna throw VY under the bus just yet because after all it was only his second season and I believe his quadricep hampered his ability to escape the rush and make those big running plays that he displayed last season.
We desperately need to acquire some play-makers at the WR position this off-season, and the comment from Fisher is exactly what I wanted to hear! There are some decent free agent WRs this year so I hope the Titans can shed their curse and get a WR that does not flop.

Can the phrase "throw him under the bus" or any form there of, be stricken from the American lexicon permanently? Please!
