Lately I've been thinking of the advantages of moving our web site to a full-service, real-time fantasy league hosting site. MyFantasyLeague.com is a sister company of the FLM software which we've been using for the last 6 years.
I've set up leagues on MyFantasyLeague.com for both MTFFL & MTFFL II and transferred all our information from the FLM program to the website. I'll be sending your passwords with a link to the home page soon, so try it out for a few days and let's discuss what you think about it.
Some of the advantages:
- Much more hands free and automated for the Commish. Lineups and transactions are updated in real time. No more waiting on me when I go to Titans games.
- Scores are updated in real time.
- Each user can customize the links and look of their site.
- Injury and fantasy information is integrated into the site information.
- Some features that I wanted to implement are already available as options such as:
- - Rosters can be changed right before the player's game time instead of the first game of the week.
- - Waiver Wire feature is available.
Known disadvantages:
- Cost is $60 per league per year. Right now we are paying $40 for the software for unlimited teams per year.
- Loss of control over some programming decisions.
Left to do:
- Check about Franchise History reports.
- Is the server fast on Sundays?
Try to test it, especially people who are in both leagues and people who share computers with other owners.
I still need to double check the scoring rules and league schedule to make sure they transferred over correctly.

i like the site, but like the hog said our smack room is much better!!!
only 5 owners have gone to the site!!!
i like several things bout the site:::
real time stats, you can trade a draft pick from 2007, no more having to take a chance on playing questionable people for the night games or monday night, waiver wire, and several other things!!!
would the new site remove most of your duties(making it much easier on u)?
is there any way we could keep our smack room and use the other site???????
