Broncos | Two defensive players not expected back   Denver Broncos impending free-agent LB Shane Ray and CB Bradley Roby are not expected to re-sign with the Broncos this offseason. Footballguys View:  01/21 21:07
Cardinals | Christian Kirk excited about new offense   Arizona Cardinals WR Christian Kirk (foot) said he is looking forward to playing in the offensive scheme that head coach Kliff Kingsbury will bring to the team. Footballguys View: Kirk should be able to do quite a bit of damage in Kingsbury's 'Air Raid' offense. He made it through 12 games as a rookie in 2018, catching 43 passes for 590 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Kirk also said he will be fully healthy when offseason workouts begin.  01/21 20:24
Patriots | Rob Gronkowski did not miss a snap   New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski was on the field for all 97 offensive snaps during the AFC Championship game. Footballguys View: Gronkowski may be playing his last NFL game in a couple of weeks when the Patriots take on the Rams in Super Bowl LIII. We'll see if he can play every snap in the big game.  01/21 20:05
Jets | Two linemen could be on bubble   New York Jets C Spencer Long and OT Kelvin Beachum are candidates to be released this offseason, in the opinion of NJ.com's Darryl Slater.  01/21 19:42
Jets | Josh McCown will not return   New York Jets impending free-agent QB Josh McCown will not re-sign with the Jets this offseason, in the opinion of NJ.com's Darryl Slater. Footballguys View: McCown is going to find backup work somewhere. The Jets have Sam Darnold locked in as their starter and potential franchise quarterback.  01/21 19:41
Jets | James Carpenter not expected back   New York Jets impending free-agent OG James Carpenter is not expected to re-sign with the Jets this offseason.  01/21 19:34
Jets | NYJ may pursue two DEs in free agency   Dallas Cowboys impending free-agent DE DeMarcus Lawrence and New England Patriots impending free-agent DE Trey Flowers could receive interest from the New York Jets if they are available in free agency, in the opinion of NJ.com's Darryl Slater.  01/21 19:30
Saints | Teddy Bridgewater not sure about future   New Orleans Saints impending free-agent QB Teddy Bridgewater said he is not sure how things will play out during free agency this offseason but believes he is where he wants to be in his career after his major knee injury. Footballguys View: Bridgewater is going to hit the open market and should have more than a few suitors. He's smart and accurate, so now as long as he's healthy Bridgewater can get back to being an effective starter.  01/21 18:51
Giants | Agent expects Eli Manning back with Giants   New York Giants QB Eli Manning is expected to return to the Giants next season, according to his agent Tom Condon. Footballguys View: That's nice and all but we don't know how the Giants stick with Manning...especially since most expect them to select a quarterback in the first round of the 2019 NFL draft. Condon said he has not had any talks with the Giants about the possibility of them releasing Manning.  01/21 18:21
Saints | Six signed to futures deals   The New Orleans Saints signed QB J.T. Barrett, CB Chris Campbell, CB JT Gray, DT Tomasi Laulile, LB Darnell Sankey and OT Nate Wozniak to Reserve/Futures contracts Monday, Jan. 21. Terms of the contracts were not disclosed.  01/21 18:21
Redskins | Alex Smith sporting big leg brace   Washington Redskins QB Alex Smith (leg) was seen wearing a special leg brace Monday, Jan. 21. Footballguys View: Lord only knows if Smith is ever going to play football again. Smith underwent multiple surgeries on a broken fibula and tibia in addition to dealing with infections as a result of complications from the surgeries.  01/21 17:21
Patriots | Sony Michel alone in history books   New England Patriots RB Sony Michel is the first rookie running ever to run for at least 100 yards and two touchdowns in a championship game. Footballguys View: The Patriots had the discipline to stay with the rushing attack against the Chiefs. Getting Michel 29 carries helped keep the clock moving and Patrick Mahomes on the sideline. Michel's long carry was only 11 yards, but he managed to blast his way to 113 yards and those two scores. We'll see what he does in the Super Bowl in two weeks.  01/21 15:32
Saints | Alvin Kamara makes history   New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara became just the second running back ever to catch at least 11 passes in a conference championship game. San Francisco 49ers RB Jerick McKinnon caught 11 passes in the NFC Championship game last year with the Minnesota Vikings. Footballguys View: Kamara and McKinnon's teams both lost in these championship games where they caught 11 passes. The Saints are in a Super Bowl window and they'll try to get back to the NFC Championship Game (and to the Super Bowl) with Kamara leading the way in the backfield. Mark Ingram is set to be a free agent in 2019 and may not stick with the Saints.  01/21 15:09
Saints | Jermon Bushrod has murky future   New Orleans Saints OT Jermon Bushrod (thumb) will undergo surgery on his injured thumb this season. He is unsure if he will return for a 13th NFL season.  01/21 14:34
Bears | Ted Monachino joins Chicago's staff   Kansas State defensive coordinator Ted Monachino was hired by the Chicago Bears Monday, Jan. 21, as a defensive assistant and outside linebackers coach. Footballguys View: The move is made because the Bears lost Brandon Staley to the Broncos. Monachino worked with new Bears defensive coordinator Chuck Pagano in two stops (Ravens, Colts) in the NFL.  01/21 14:18
Dolphins | Patrick Graham likely the DC   Updating previous reports, Green Bay Packers linebackers coach Patrick Graham is likely to be hired as defensive coordinator of the Miami Dolphins when New England Patriots linebackers coach Brian Flores is hired as head coach. Footballguys View: Once the Patriots are done playing in yet another Super Bowl, we will see Flores hired as the Dolphins new head coach. Graham worked with Flores in New England from 2009-2015.  01/21 08:15
Eagles | Philly could shop Nelson Agholor   Philadelphia Eagles WR Nelson Agholor could be made available in a trade, according to Philly Voice's Jimmy Kempski, who cites Agholor's high salary ($9.387 million) and the team's limited cap space as reasons the Eagles would consider trading Agholor. Footballguys View: A first-round pick in the 2015 NFL draft, Agholor took a couple of seasons to get going as a pro but over the last two years he's caught over 60 passes each year. If he stays with the Eagles and has a similar role, Agholor produces at a WR4 level for Fantasy GMs.  01/21 01:10
