Jaguars | Yannick Ngakoue to report   Jacksonville Jaguars DE Yannick Ngakoue is expected to report to organized team activities Tuesday, May 21, despite his desire for a new contract.  05/21 09:34
Eagles | Malcolm Jenkins absent   Philadelphia Eagles FS Malcolm Jenkins is absent from organized team activities. Jenkins was also absent for offseason workouts.  05/21 08:34
Packers | Josh Jones wants out   Green Bay Packers SS Josh Jones is away from voluntary organized team activities and working out in Florida because he's hoping to be traded, according to a source. Footballguys View: A couple of moves the Packers made this offseason must not have sat well with Jones. They added Adrian Amos in free agency then they drafted Darnell Savage in the first round of the 2019 NFL draft. There was thought that Jones would now be moved to linebacker, and that may be something he doesn't want to do. If on the trade block, the Packers could get quite a bit of interest.  05/21 07:20
Redskins | Reuben Foster might have artery damage   Updating a previous report, Washington Redskins LB Reuben Foster (knee) has a torn anterior cruciate ligament, but there are also some worries about possible artery damage in his leg, according to a source. Footballguys View: Reports have circulated that there's more damage than just the ACL. Artery damage is tricky to deal with an can be a career-ending injury. We'll know more about any sort of extra damage Foster may or may not have in the near future.  05/20 23:09
Rams | Cooper Kupp unsure about return   Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp (knee) said he is happy with the progress he is making in his rehab but does not want to put a timetable on his return. Footballguys View: Kupp made it through eight games last year before going down with a knee injury. It's been smooth sailing during his recovery with no known setbacks for the young wide receiver. Rams head coach Sean McVay said the goal is for Kupp to be ready for Week 1. Fantasy GMs are taking Kupp off the board at WR19 (4.11) in 12-team PPR leagues.  05/20 21:33
Cardinals | David Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald absent   Arizona Cardinals RB David Johnson and WR Larry Fitzgerald were not present during practice Monday, May 20. Footballguys View: Not a big deal here. Both are under contract, Johnson through the 2021 season and Fitzgerald on his new one-year deal, so it's not like money is a problem with either star player. It's the voluntary portion of the offseason, and these two are choosing to work on their own. They should both report for mandatory minicamp when that rolls around. Johnson is expecting to be used more under new head coach Kliff Kingsbury while Fitzgerald could thrive as an underneath receiver in the 'Air Raid' offense.  05/20 21:03
Buccaneers | Ndamukong Suh an option for Tampa?   Free-agent DT Ndamukong Suh (Rams) could be an option for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after the team released DT Gerald McCoy, in the opinion of The Athletic's Greg Auman. Footballguys View: Suh's market hasn't materialized this offseason, so the Bucs might be able to get him on a one-year deal. He has played in a defense similar to what Todd Bowles brings to Tampa in 2019. Reports circulated early when Suh was first on the open market that he may want to stay on the West coast. Now, after going months with not a ton of interest, the Gulf coast may be where he lands.  05/20 20:41
Falcons | Julio Jones absent from workouts   Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones was not present for the start of organized team activities Monday, May 20. Footballguys View: About 10 days ago, Falcons GM Thomas Dimitroff said he's "very encouraged" by Julio Jones' extension talks. The team expects Jones to be at mandatory work in the middle of June, but they only thought he'd sparingly participate in voluntary workouts. The Falcons should get a deal done with Jones that makes him the highest paid wide receiver in the league.  05/20 20:41
Redskins | Case Keenum receives first snap   Washington Redskins QB Case Keenum received the first snap during team drills Monday, May 20. Footballguys View: Keenum is the veteran quarterback, so he's going to be at the top of the depth chart to begin workouts. However, it may not take long for rookie first-round pick Dwayne Haskins to take over. Haskins is seen as the quarterback of the future while Keenum is more of a quality backup than he is a regular starter. We'll see this battle unfold in training camp and the preseason.  05/20 19:36
Redskins | Reuben Foster injury update   Updating a previous report, Washington Redskins LB Reuben Foster (knee) suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament during practice Monday, May 20, according to a source. Footballguys View: Foster's 2019 season is now over. Washington picked up Foster on waivers last year once the 49ers were done with him due to off field issues. He'll now work back from this ACL injury and hope to be ready for the 2020 season.  05/20 19:16
Buccaneers | Gerald McCoy released   Tampa Bay Buccaneers DT Gerald McCoy was released Monday, May 20. Footballguys View: This move was not unexpected. McCoy was due a whopping $13 million by the Buccaneers and all of that now comes off the books with his release. The Bucs first-round pick in the 2010 NFL draft, McCoy is not quite the player he used to be. That being said, we think McCoy finds a home rather quickly -- and it could be with a team in a Super Bowl window. Stay tuned.  05/20 19:01
Giants | Two linemen should be ready for camp   New York Giants OT Nate Solder (ankle) and OT Mike Remmers (back) should be ready for the start of training camp.  05/20 18:53
Giants | Corey Ballentine sidelined for now   New York Giants CB Corey Ballentine (gluteus) did not participate in practice Monday, May 20. Head coach Pat Shurmur said he hopes Ballentine will be able to practice before training camp.  05/20 18:51
Cowboys | No progress in Amari Cooper contract talks   Dallas Cowboys WR Amari Cooper is at a stalemate in contract extension talks with the Cowboys, according to a source. Footballguys View: The Cowboys have some big-money deals coming up with guys like Cooper, QB Dak Prescott and RB Ezekiel Elliott. There is buzz that Cooper wants to best the top WR salary (annually) that Odell Beckham Jr. currently makes at $18MM per year. Cooper made an instant impact for the Cowboys last year after they traded the Raiders for him and they'll get some deal done...no matter how painful that price tag might be.  05/20 18:37
Broncos | Ronald Leary may practice soon   Denver Broncos OG Ronald Leary (Achilles) hopefully will be able to return to the practice field before the end of offseason workouts, according to head coach Vic Fangio.  05/20 18:00
Broncos | Shamarko Thomas misses practice   Denver Broncos SS Shamarko Thomas (undisclosed) did not participate in practice Monday, May 20.  05/20 17:59
Broncos | De'Vante Bausby on field with starters   Denver Broncos CB De'Vante Bausby worked with the first-team defense during practice Monday, May 20, because CBs Chris Harris Jr. and Isaac Yiadom (shoulder) did not participate.  05/20 17:42
Jets | Matt Darr joins Jets   Free-agent P Matt Darr (Bills) signed with the New York Jets Monday, May 20. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.  05/20 17:25
Vikings | Kyle Rudolph to practice Tuesday   Minnesota Vikings TE Kyle Rudolph said he plans to participate in practice Tuesday, May 21, even though his future with the team is uncertain. Footballguys View: There are reports that the Vikings have not asked Rudolph to take a pay cut. Last week, Rudolph exclaimed that he wouldn't take a pay cut because he's 'too young' to do so. With a cap number of $7.6 million in 2018, the final year of his deal, we expect the Vikings to re-work that number in any way possible -- whether that be through extension or release.  05/20 17:10
Redskins | Likely torn ACL for Reuben Foster   Updating a previous report, Washington Redskins LB Reuben Foster (knee) is believed to have suffered a torn left anterior cruciate ligament during the team's first organized team activity Monday, May 20. Footballguys View: Reports indicate Foster was sobbing as he was carted off the practice field. Washington claimed Foster off waivers after the 49ers got rid of him after six games in the 2018 season. The 2017 first-round pick spent the remainder of 2018 on the Commissioner's Exempt List. He has been arrested twice on domestic violence charges and was trying to get his career back on track with a fresh start in Washington. Now, if this is a torn ACL, Foster will likely miss the 2019 season.  05/20 16:50
